Mr. Pradip Saha has played gallant innings of 37 years in the Company which he joined on the 1st May 1982 after appearing for several screening interviews.

Mr. Saha started his carrier as a Sales Representative with a stipend of only Rs.600/- per month. The probation period was a gruesome 12-month tenure where he completed brilliantly and was absorbed in the Company, Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co Ltd.

On the 18th August 1983, Mr. Saha was designated Sales Representative for Pigments & Stabilizers of Waldies Ltd, with his territory stretching to West Bengal, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Odhisa. It was during this period in his capacity as Sales Representative, Mr. Saha, in his capacity as Sales Representative acquainted himself with the rank and file of the manufacturers as well as Sales Representative of other companies in this industry, whilst he gathered knowledge in the technicalities of various products of Waldies.

Saha became popular in the industry for his soft nature and his desire to hear patiently to the various developments of similar products of other companies which came in as valuable feedback to Waldies for its Research & Development Cell.

Mr. Pradip Saha, by dint of his perseverance to excel, was promoted to the designation as a Senior Sales Representative in the year 1988. All these while Mr. Saha was selling Waldies products under the profile of Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co Ltd. In the year 1989 he was transferred to Waldies Limited and since then he has diligently conducted the crusade to promulgate and spread the products of Waldies to various places of the country.

In 2006, when Waldies Ltd. became a division of Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co Ltd. merged with the parent body Mr. Saha remain with division and continued selling its products as an Executive Officer of the Division.

Subsequently, when Waldies de-merged and became a standalone unit as Waldies Compound Ltd., Mr. Saha with his encyclopedic knowledge of the Lead industry & Waldies products, stood by the Organisation as its Sales Manager, providing all assistance to achieve plutonic heights where the Organisation was all set to target.

Waldies Compound Limited triggered its highest sale ever in the FY 2017-2018 with the support and contribution of Mr. Pradip Saha.

He was very popular with big Organisation like Exide Industries Ltd., as also the similar popularity with the small customers who barely had the chance to visit a corporate office of the Organisation.

It is, however, disheartening, but a reality to accept to us that Mr. Pradip Saha is no more. Following a cardiac arrest in the morning hours of 13th April, Mr. Saha left us all at 8:30 PM.
